Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week - Pop Up Add-ons

Hello there!  Today is the final day of this month's Lawn Fawn inspiration week!  Today the team is showcasing a bunch of new add on dies for the Pop-Up card die series.

For my card, I used the Grassy Hillside pop-up add-ons.  Even though they are meant to help create pop up cards, you can certainly use them in other ways.  Here, they are used layered on a horizontal card base.  To create my card, I started off by diecutting a piece of Perfectly Plaid Rainbow patterned paper with the Dotted Rectangle Stackables.  Then, I diecut the Grassy Hillside Pop-up dies from Cilantro cardstock, and inked the edges with Freshly Cut Grass ink.  I also diecut the Little Picket Fence border from white cardstock.  I stamped a colored images from the Baaah Humbug stamp set, and stamped and diecut a banner from the new Bannertastic stamp set.  I stamped a custom sentiment using sentiments from Baaah Humbug and Baked with Love.  The sky is fulled with Simple Puffy Cloud Frames diecuts, and I added some fun red polka dot paper to the bottom using Let's Polka in the Dark patterned paper and the Stitched Scallop border dies.  I added some accents with a white gel pen, and mounted the panel to a red card base.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week - Bicycle Built For You

Hello there!  Today, the Lawn Fawn Team is showcasing a new set, Bicycle Built For You!  This set is so full of possibilities with all of the great sentiments and add-ons to dress up your bicycle!

To create my card, I started off by diecutting a piece of watercolor paper with the largest die from the Small Stitched Rectangles Stackables die set.  Then, I used Iced Spruce Oxide ink to blend in a silver-ish ombre.  These oxide inks blend like butter!  I added a few paint splatters in the same color.  While it was drying, I stamped, colored and diecut images from the Bicycle Built For You stamp set, and a sentiment from the Happy Happy Happy stamp set.  I arranged everything on the card front, adhering some pieces with a glue pen, and others with foam tape.  I perched the happy couple on top of the diecut HAPPY and stamped the rest of the sentiment.  Then I popped that panel up on a Fancy Scalloped Rectangle Stackables diecut and popped that up onto a white card base to finish my card.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week - Hang in There

Hello there!  I'm back for day 4 of Lawn Fawn inspiration week!  Today, we are showcasing the adorable sloth from the new Hang in There stamp set!

To create my card, I cut a card base 4" x 5.25" from Cilantro cardstock.  I diecut some patterned paper from the Let's Polka in the Meadow paper pad and diecut it with the Dotted Rectangles Stackables.  I diecut the largest circle from the Small Dotted Circles Stackables die set from white cardstock and black cardstock.  I diecut the black circle again with the Snowy Backdrops die to create a night sky.  I popped that up on a large Zig Zag Circle diecut.  Then I stamped and colored the cute little sloth from Hang in There, and glued him to the circle.  Then I stamped a few stars from the Critters Ever After stamp set, and popped them up around the sloth before adhering the circle to the card front.  Finally, I stamped a sentiment from the Hang in There stamp set on one of the Fancy Folded Banners diecuts to finish things off.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week - Fab Flowers

Hello hello!  It's day 3 of the Lawn Fawn inspiration week and today, the design team is showcasing the Fab Flowers stamp set!

To create my card, I started off with a piece of watercolor paper cut with the Large Stitched Rectangles Stackables.  I arranged my flowers where I wanted them, and stamped each with Tim Holtz Distress Oxide inks in various colors.  Then I sprayed each flower and stem with a spray bottle, concentrating on one flower at a time.  I wanted the colors to  be like halos behind each image.  When that part dried, I added splatters of oxide ink over top and let that dry.  Then, I stamped the flowers and stamps again, this time on white cardstock and diecut them with the coordinating Fab Flowers dies.  The aqua flower uses Merman and Peacock inks, the purple uses Fresh Lavender and Juice Box inks and the pink flower uses Ballet Slippers and Guava inks.  I used the Distress Oxide ink again to stamp the stems.  I glued the stems directly over top of where I stamped them originally, using a glue pen, then I popped the leaves and flowers up using foam tape.  I added a sentiment using the Happy Happy Happy stamp set and coordinating dies (I can't get enough of that set!).  The panel was mounted on a Guava cardstock base, and I added a scattering of sequins and a twine bow to finish things off.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week - Happy Happy Happy and Bannertastic

Hello there!  It's day 2 of Lawn Fawn inspiration week, and today the team is showcasing two stamp sets - Happy Happy Happy and  Bannertastic!  Both sets are awesome basics and staples in your stamp collection.  I will be using them a lot for sure!

To create my card, I started off by diecutting a piece of Watercolor Wonder patterned paper with the largest die from the Large Stitched Rectangles Stackables die set.  I stamped and diecut my favorite "happy" from the Happy Happy Happy stamp set three times, and diecut it with the coordinating dies.  I stamped and colored images from the Hello Sunshine stamp set and finished the sentiment by stamping the word "everything" on a banner from the Bannertastic stamp set. I perched the cute little birdies from Hello Sunshine on the diecuts and banner, and used the Simple Grassy Hillside borders to ground the one at the bottom.  To finish things off, I added a trio of clouds using the Simple Puffy Cloud Frames dies, and some music notes from the Year Four stamp set.

Happy Happy Happy

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week - Meow You Doin' and Wonderful Window

Hello hello!  Woohoo!  Lawn Fawn inspiration week is here!  Today, the gang is showcasing the adorable Meow You Doin' stamp set and coordinating dies, and the Wonderful Window die set!

If you don't follow me on instagram, you might not know that I am a crazy cat lady.  I am an animal lover all the way around, but cats are my favorite, and have been since my childhood cat was born in my closet when I was three years old.  Needless to say, when I saw that Lawn Fawn was coming out with a cat themed set, I squealed out loud!

So to create my card, I started off with a piece of Narwhal cardstock that I diecut with the largest die in the Large Stitched Rectangles Stackables die set.  I used my scoring board to score lines every 1/2" all the way down the length of the card to create the look of siding on a house.  I diecut the Wonderful Window from white cardstock and colored the little flower box and tulips with Copic Markers, and stuck a piece of pink paper from the Watercolor Wonder paper pad in the window opening.  I stamped and colored one of the cats from Meow You Doin' and one of the dogs from the Happy Howloween stamp set.  I love that these sets are the same scale and they can sit together perfectly in the window.  I popped the window up on the scored panel with foam tape, and added some grass down below using the Simple Grassy Hillsides die and Cilantro cardstock.  I stamped a sentiment from the Meow You Doin' stamp set onto a banner diecut and popped that up on some foam tape to finish off my card.

My card today uses several of the new products from this release.  To create my card, I started off with a midnight card base.  I diecut the new Drop Cover Panel from white cardstock and adhered that to the top of the card base.  To create my focal point, I stamped a sentiment from the Circle Wishes stamp set ink black ink and diecut it with the coordinating  Circle Wishes Confetti Cuts.  I popped it up in the center of the panel.  Then, on opposite corners of the circle, I stamped, colored and diecut images from the Hanging Blooms stamp set, and popped those up as well.  Finally, to frame everything out, I diecut the Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts from midnight cardstock, and inlaid pieces of the frame cut from Rose cardstock.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 3

Hello there! It's day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!  All of the new release goodies will be available on March 8th!

Today my card features the adorable new All About Ewe stamp set and coordinating confetti cuts dies along with the new Elemental Stripes stamp set.  As you all know, I love the RC critters, and this little sheep is no exception!

To create my card, I started off with a piece of Midnight cardstock.  I used Tim Holtz Oxide ink to stamp the scalloped image from Elemental Stripes on either side of the panel, and then I used a paint brush to spatter some randomly on the panel.  I stamped, colored and diecut images from All About Ewe and arranged them on my card.  The scene is grounded by a strip of patterned paper from the new Free Spirit paper pad.  I stamped the clouds from the Weather It Together stamp set in the new Stormy ink and popped them up with foam tape.  Before adhering everything down, I heat embossed a sentiment from the new Boho Vibes stamp set in white embossing powder.  To finish things off, I added a few tiny stars from my stash and then popped the panel up on a Stormy Cardstock base.

Dream Big

I think this little sheep is perfect for the Easter holiday too.  I know I will use him often because he is just too cute.  I love his sweet innocent expression.

Countdown to Confetti - Day 1

Hello there!  Today begins the March Countdown to Confetti with Reverse Confetti!  All of the new products that will be showcased over the next few days will be available on March 8th!

My card today features one of my favorite stamp sets from the release, Boho Vibes, and my favorite die from this release, the Striped Frame Cover Panel.  To create my card, I started off with a white card base, and I diecut the Striped Frame Cover Panel from black cardstock.  I adhered that to the card base using a glue pen.  I diecut the frame again, this time from watercolor paper, and I used the new Tim Holtz Oxide inks to watercolor the center piece from the frame.  When it was dry, I adhered it in the  middle of the panel with a glue pen.  Then I stamped, colored and diecut the large dreamcatcher from Boho Vibes, and popped that up with foam tape over the watercolor piece.

Dreamcatcher

I love that coloring this image with different colors will give a totally different feet to every card.  The bright colors I used give my card a fun and whimsical feel.

Dreamcatcher 2

On the inside of the card, I cut a piece of the watercolor I did, and added a bold zig zag border using the Edge Essentials Confetti cuts, then I stamped a sentiment also from the Boho Vibes stamp set.
