Sunny Studio Stamps - Gnome Sweet Gnome

Hello friends! Today, I have a fun gnome themed card to share with you using products from Sunny Studio Stamps!  If you have fallen in love with this adorable stamp set and want to add it to your collection, don't delay!  This set is retiring, but still in stock, and as soon as it's sold out, it's gone for good.  Get yours while you can! :)  To create my card, I started off with a piece of white cardstock cut to 4" x5.25".  I cut a piece of computer paper the same size, and diecut a rectangle from the center, creating a stencil or mask of sorts.  I taped them together and used Distress ink in Blueprint Sketch (very lightly) and Rustic Wilderness to ink blend a background for the scene.  Then, I stamped and colored the mushroom trio, two polka dot mushrooms, and the super cute sitting gnome from Gnome Sweet Gnome, all of which I cut out with the coordinating Gnome Sweet Gnome dies.

I arranged them on the ink blended rectangle, gluing some down with liquid and popping others up with foam tape.  I added a trio of tiny clouds to the sky using the Comic Strip Everyday die set, and scattered on some tiny clay hearts above the little gnome's head.  Then, I stamped a sentiment from the set on a white banner diecut, and popped that up in the grass on my scene.  The entire panel was adhered to an A2 card base with foam tape, and to finish off the card, I added a few white gel pen accents.

Spellbinders Boo Dance Party Collection

Hello there!  Today, I have a fun and spooky halloween card to share with you using the new Haunted House die set, part of the Boo Dance Party collection from Spellbinders!  It's available now on the Spellbinders website along with so many other amazing new goodies!

To create this card, I started off with a piece of light purple cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25".  I used Distress ink in Wilted Violet, Villianous Potion and Black Soot to add some darker edges around where I wanted my focal point to be.  I then splattered on some clean water, metallic silver watercolor, and some watered down white acrylic paint.  I diecut all of my pieces first.  The house was cut from dark grey cardstock and inked with Black Soot.  The moon was cut from white and inked lightly with Wild Honey Distress ink.  The clouds were cut from light grey cardstock.  I added an orange glow inside the windows and deepened the glow with a darker orange Copic marker.  I added a scattering of tiny clay stars to the sky, some white gel pen accents and some Stickles glitter to the clouds. I used black Nuvo drops to make the tiny ghost's more prominent.  A sentiment from my stash was stamped on the light purple cardstock, and trimmed with my paper trimmer before popping it up with foam tape.  To finish off the card, I added a strip of black and white striped paper to the left edge of an A2 cardbase, and popped the panel up with foam tape.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Summer Greenery

Hello friends!  Today, I have a fun, artsy card to share with you using products from Sunny Studio Stamps!  I pulled out my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers that I haven't used in awhile for this one!  To create this card, I started out by diecutting the leaves from the Summer Greenery die set from several different colors of green cardstock and then I inked them with various shades of green Distress ink.  I decided where I wanted the focal point of my card to be and used my Zig Clean Color markers to add some drippy watercolor to that area.  When it was dry, I splattered on some black watercolor leaving the bottom right of the panel white to give the eye a place to rest.  I arranged my leaves and adhered them down with a glue pen.  Then, I stamped and colored one of the cute little elephants from the Baby Elephants stamp set and diecut him with the coordinating Baby Elephants die.  I popped him with up foam tape in the center of the leaf pile.

I stamped a sentiment from the set in black ink  just below the focal point. For some added interest, I added a strip of striped washi tape the bottom edge of the panel, and trimmed a tiny bit off of the top edge of the panel so that when I mounted it on a light green card base, some of the color would peek out the bottom.  To finish off this card, I added some white gel pen accents and a scattering of green iridescent sequins.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Tropical Trees Backdrop

Hello friends! Today, I have a tropical nighttime scene to share with you using products from Sunny Studio Stamps!  I started off by inking a piece of white cardstock cut to 4.25" x 5.5" with Distress inks in Villainous Potion, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin, then I splattered with some clean water and some metallic watercolor to add some extra interest.  I diecut the Tropical Trees Backdrop and a trio of palm trees and clouds from black cardstock and glued everything down with a glue pen.  I added a tiny car from the Comic Strip Everyday die set, which coordinates perfectly with a sentiment from the Country Carnival stamp set.

To finish off the night sky, I added a scattering of white starts diecut using the Basic Mini Shape Dies II die set and then added some white gel pen accents to the clouds.  This simple card packs a punch with the high contrast of the bright sunset sky and the dark diecuts.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Country Carnival

Hello friends! Today, I have Country Carnival card to share with you using products from Sunny Studio Stamps!  This card is a bit different for me as I normally love bright colors and and lots of white space on my cards, but I decided to make a night scene card with this stamp set.  I started off with a piece of dark blue cardstock cut to 4" x 5.25".  I used a cloud stencil from my stash and some Black Soot Distress Oxide to add some night clouds to the top 2/3 of the panel.  I masked off the bottom and inked along the mask to create the ground.  Then, I splattered on some gold metallic watercolor to add stars to the sky.  I stamped and colored the ferris wheel, some of the little bears and the ticket booth from the Country Carnival stamp set, and diecut them with the coordinating Country Carnival dies.

Sunny Studio Stamps

The white background of the stamped images was too much contrast for me, so I used a dark blue copic marker to trace around the edges of the images.  I arranged my scene, and adhered it to the panel.  I didn't want sentiment to stand out too much, so I used white pigment ink on the dark cardstock for a more muted sentiment.  Then, I used the Basic Mini Shapes Dies II to add some white stars to the sky.  Finally, I mounted the panel to a dark blue card base.

Sunny Studio Stamps - Designer's Choice

Hello friends! Today, I have a fun underwater scene card to share with you  using products from Sunny Studio Stamps!  To create this card, I started by ink blending a panel cut to 3.5" x 5" with Vintage Photo, Peacock Feathers and Salvaged Patina Distress ink.  I splattered on clean water to bleach other some areas along with more ink and watered down acrylic paint to mimic the look of bubbles.  I stamped and images from both the Kiddie Pool and Ocean View stamp set and diecut them with the coordinating Kiddie Pool dies and Ocean View dies.  After finding an arrangement that I liked, I popped the images up on foam tape.

Sunny Studio Stamps

The panel was glued to an A2 card base on an angle for some added interest and I stamped a sentiment from the Best Fishes stamp set on a banner and popped it up on the left side of the scene.  To finish off the card, I added some white gel pen accents and a scattering of bubble embellishments.
